News - Motorsport Academy boosts the Future of Motorsport at ExCeL on the 8th-9th December 2007.

Working together, the Motorsport Academy, EEMS, Learning Grid, F1 in Schools, Formula Student, Formula Schools, UK Youth, Greenpower, and the Silverstone Innovation Centre Design Challenge will unite to create a zone at the London Motorsport Show which will attract businesses, learners, and educators to see the potential of the future of Motorsport in a new and innovative way. 

The Future of Motorsport zone at the London Motorsport Show will be a unique and diverse portal informing people of the future of the industry, and what it has to offer in the way of careers and learning. A programme of demonstrations, displays, and talks will take place in the zone, which will highlight the opportunities all the above initiatives are making available within the world of Motorsport today – putting the future of the sport and the industry at the heart.  

For those at school the zone will show the relevance and value of what they are learning within their core curriculum subjects; and will offer a taste of what it will be like to be a part of the UK motorsport community.  For teachers and tutors and those looking to further their education or career in the industry this zone will provide an inspirational gateway to what is available to them – and for businesses, this zone will show the potential of what they could achieve by investing in the young engineers of tomorrow, thereby further securing the future of their businesses.
