the future

hi im currently doing an apprenticeship at arnold clark vauxhall in stretford. i had about 4-5 GCSE's including a Double Award in Engineering grade (AA) by the time i come out of my apprenticeship, and fully qualified technician i will be 21-22. where do i go from there im interested in rally, eg building a rally car for an event and repairing it etc. if not how could i find out which universities hav courses like these

Hi there,

In order to advise you properly, I need to know more about what you are learning in your automotive apprenticeship.

If your apprenticeship is motor vehicle (road) repair and maintenance orientated, this may be very different to the needs of motorsport applications, which are either core engineering or race car technician/mechanic skills orientated.

To check out the motorsport degrees that exist, look at our course database on this website, and the profiles will show you the individual content and units that these programmes offer.
